What is Heart & Coins?
Hi! I’m Alexis, the owner and practitioner behind Heart & Coins.
Heart & Coins is a spiritual practice centered around intuitive tarot counseling, spiritual rootwork, and intentional transformation. Through intuitive divination, customized spiritual workings, ritual products, and trainings, I create space for deeper self-awareness, meaningful connection, and personal growth.
My readings offer personalized, holistic insight to help you better understand your circumstances, recognize the patterns and possibilities surrounding you, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.
My spiritual workings are designed to help address the obstacles and energetic blockages that may be standing between you and the life you’re working to create.
At the heart of Heart & Coins is the belief that understanding yourself is powerful—and knowing how to intentionally work toward what you desire is even more powerful.
My Story & Spiritual Journey
I received my very first tarot reading on October 25, 2015. Halloween—how fitting!
At the time, I was completely new to spirituality and tarot, so I was fascinated by the entire experience. I sat down with my soon-to-be “tarot mother,” Pauline, and watched as she laid out a simple deck of cards and somehow began telling the story of my life.
It felt like she was looking straight through me.
She spoke about how unfulfilled I felt, how badly I wanted to find my purpose, and how much of myself I had been searching for. She brought things to the surface that I hadn't shared with anyone—not even myself. More than anything, she challenged me to acknowledge something I already knew deep down: I had created a life that no longer felt like mine.
That reading changed everything.
It gave me the courage to start making the changes I'd been putting off for years. I tried yoga. I moved closer to the city. I ended a long-term relationship that was no longer serving me. I started clearing away the things that were keeping me stuck and making room for something new.
And once I created that space, I began discovering my spiritual path.
Not long after, Pauline gifted me my first tarot deck. (Thank you, Pauline!) And the rest, as they say, is history.
What started with one tarot reading eventually became a spiritual practice, a business, and a way of connecting with people who were searching for the same things I once was: clarity, purpose, healing, connection, and a deeper understanding of themselves.
Today, tarot and spiritual work are how I create that same kind of safe, intentional space for my clients. It's a place to ask the questions you may not know how to answer on your own, explore what's happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with the person you're becoming.
Heart & Coins is also my way of serving my community and creating a space where spirituality can be explored with intention, curiosity, and heart.
What began with a single tarot reading became a journey of transformation—and Heart & Coins is one of the ways I get to share that journey with others.
